Top management commitment and lean team members’ prosocial voice behaviour

Purpose Top management commitment (TMC) and prosocial voice behaviour in Lean teams are vital for the successful implementation. This study aims to investigate how TMC influences team members’ such changed affects outcome of implementations. Design/methodology/approach The authors have used a qualitative research methodology examine six dimensions (communication, involvement, support, empowerment, encouragement monitoring) two ready-made garment (RMG) factories Bangladesh. Operational performance was measured by efficiency, quality, value stream mapping, single-minute exchange dies 5S scores. Occupational Health Safety (OHS) assessed acceptable head back positions, machine safety, use masks housekeeping. Findings findings reveal that members' positively and, thereby, company's performance. Six all critical mobilizing voice, which then improves productivity, OHS enhancing employee capacity job satisfaction. Research limitations/implications involved sewing lines RMG Cross-sector large-scale international quantitative is also needed. Practical implications shows problem-solving can mobilize voice.
